The Fool, The Lovers, and the Knight of Wands

Welcome, friend. If this is for you, I hope you find it helpful. Whether or not it resonates, I thank you for being here and sharing a moment with me! Let’s take a look at these cards together.

It is the innocence of the Fool that grants the freedom to explore ideas beyond the status quo, the canon, the “proven wisdom.” The fool often challenges long-held assumptions and asks why things cannot be done differently. It can be scary to do this; who knows what criticism awaits you for speaking your mind or taking the less-beaten path? What if you’re wrong? Your knowing comes from a connection to spirit and the collective consciousness, so when intuition moves you, listen to it. You cannot reach union with another—whether an individual, a group, or incongruent parts of yourself—if you don’t make a choice. Holding your tongue, remaining stagnant, and refusing to consider other perspectives will only keep you mired and isolated. This is a tricky balance, not unlike the cliffside hike of the fool setting off on their journey: too far on one side and your loneliness may envelop you; too far on the other will drown your intuition. Whether or not the Lovers represent the potential reunion of two souls for you at this time, they also stand as a reminder to approach choices with caution, assess all sides, and trust your instincts around communication. With all of the above in mind, the Knight of Wands nudges towards action. The fearlessness represented here is fiery in comparison to the Fool’s idealism; here, there is more of an idea—possibly with passionate bias attached—about where to go and how to manifest the desired outcome. Hold onto the passion, but use your head lest the sparks fly and lead to an unintentional burn. Trust your experience and perception, but keep your words on the tender side and be willing to converse, not merely blurt your piece and run away.

Love and light to you, and remember, you are always welcome at my kitchen table. -KTT 🌻💛
