The 2 of Wands represents the preparation that comes with attempting a new venture or life path, but that can be accompanied by reservations. At a certain point, action must occur to put a plan in motion, so gather the enthusiasm from the unseen but still influential Ace of Wands—a representative of the spark that created the vision that necessitates this phase of discovery for you. Consider what makes the journey exciting instead of anxiety-inducing and accept that the only thing you can control is you. Any plan can be thwarted, but can you roll with it and trust in your own intuition to put things in gear? You have knowledge, resources, plan, and your own creative magic at your disposal, and once you get going, the world you seek is yours. However, it’s important to stay flexible. The balance required to stay upright and mobile through all of the challenges of your journey is no small thing. The forces of the world around you, particularly groups you may belong to, or social movements—anything where the energy will flow on regardless of your active participation—can knock you out of harmony with a quickness if you aren’t prepared to roll with it. This idea of rolling with it keeps jumping to the foreground for me, so if you tend to be a little uptight and control freaky, this is your sign to take advantage of the momentum presented and let it work with and for you instead of fighting it quite so hard. The wheel is always going to turn, so you can either keep up with it or cry the whole way. You are more capable and resilient than you think, so as you prepare per the 2 of Wands, remind yourself to expect the peaks and valleys. What will help through this is a willingness to collaborate.
